News update:
The 2008 World Championships a great succes
Nice weather and great events during the WC 2008. Spectacular battles and 12 nations at start line. The organisation Selles Kamperzeedijk looks back on a great 3 day event.

"... we are happy that so many footbikers had a great time in our IJsseldelta. Realising such an event is a lot of work, but with the many volunteers we managed to make it happen. More then 100 volunteers were active in the World Championship 2008 and also many partner organisation support the races. We can look back to great competitions and we hope every one arrives safely home around the globe.
Our club and also our National organisation NAF was honoured to have so many footbike guests at startline. As organising club we were felt realy proud to organise this year the 30th Kamperzeedijk edition. And to have this combined in a World Championship was assumn..." the members of Selles Kamperzeedijk.

News update:
Mysterious disappearing
Mysteriously many wooden footbike emblems disappeared Sundaynight after the teams left for home. 16 Darkblue wooden footbikes were placed all over Kampen and Kamperzeedijk and form appereantly a very popular souvenir object. We hope they find a good place in the many clubs and countries ;) Please do treat our 'hyjacked' dark blue team members with the very much respect.

News update:
More than 100 footbikers at start line
120 people have entried for the WC races - 87 for criterium, 86 for sprint, 73 for the relay and 104 for te endurance race. Next tot that also 70 kids take part in the fun events. We have 11 nations at start line. The first riders have already arrived in Kampen.
More then 60 helpers are active in the WC crew each day.

News update July 18 2008:
IKSA Eurocup - We wish all riders good times in Czech during the second IKSA eurocup weekend and we hope to see you all in Netherlands. The World Championship is next to a title event also the 3d IKSA eurocup this season. The 4th eurocup weekend will be organised in September in Wales.
News update July 17 2008:
Preparations in Kampen and Kamperzeedijk are in motion. This week 16 large wooden figures of more then 1,50 meter high came from the CNC machines. It took a lot of calculating by the computer the produce them, but they came out beautifully. Thanks to the people of Van der Weerd Kunststof Techniek IJsselmuiden!


The woord is sponsered by HUBO and Karwei companies from Kampen.
The wooden figures will be painten and spread out through the IJsseldelta to promote the World Championship 2008.
